First of all, there are a lot of different plastics, all coming with different characteristics. The most common plastics used in China are PMMA, POM, PET, PP, LDPE and PEEK, and some of them can be mixed, to make the choice even more complicated.  Moreover, you have to decide about which criteria need to be met, and usually trade-offs have to be made. And then there are the significant differences between raw materials offerings. From Chinese ‘no names’ to branded ones from for example Formosa, BASF, Bayer and Dupont. So, it is not an easy job to select the best plastic for your project, but luckily there is enough information available to make it easier.
